While in our transitional living program, our residents have a Youth Advocate to help them navigate their plan for success. Our residents can expect to get:
Free, safe housing
Clean, comfortable beds and bedding
Guidance on your future goals and milestones
Access to free mental health services
Help enrolling in school and/or vocational programs
Help enrolling in government services (food stamp, medicare, etc) ny (Youth Engagement Specialist)
Assistance in scheduling necessary medical and dental appointment
Transportation to work, school and health appointments
Life Skills classes
Assistance in obtaining identification documents (state ID, birth certificate, social security card, etc)
A family atmosphere with love and support
A structured environment to promote stability and growth
Traditional family experiences, like experiences and holiday activities
Help preparing for and gaining employment
An appreciation for your community by volunteering as a group
